*Reading Time: 2 minutes*

When Jesus wept, the Jews said, “See how He loved him.” This can be said of each blood-bought believer, “See how He loves him!” Children of God, know this He loves you. He felt for the family of Lazarus because He loved them. The depth of His love cannot be measured. It is beyond eternity and infinity.

John 11:36  – Then said the Jews, See how he loved him!

Our Father God loves you. God’s love is expressed to us through His Son-Jesus Christ. His death on a cross is the ultimate symbol of love and sacrifice. There is no beginning and no end to His love for you. His love is expressed through everything He has done and is doing.

John, the beloved apostle says, “He loved His own and loved them to the end.”

John 13:1 – And before the feast of the passover, Jesus knowing that his hour hath come, that he may remove out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own who [are] in the world–to the end he loved them.

We are His own and His love for us is unique. His love is greater towards us than to all His other creation. I do not doubt that God is absolutely good and kind to all people; in fact, He is the kindest and most loving person I have ever met in my life. His generosity and kindness reaches to all He has created. However, there is an extraordinary love, a family-love which God has for His own people.

The Lord is looking to extend this love to all creation through us. Are we ready to declare His love, forgiveness and kindness to all creation? This is what His Church-His body is called to do. He has poured His love into our hearts by His Holy Spirit.

Romans 5:5 – And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

May this love be our anchor and through it may the world see Christ.
