*Reading Time: 2 minutes*

The purpose of God is always referred in scripture to be ‘one’ purpose. A singular purpose which the Lord had in mind before He created all things. The Lord revealed His purpose, plan and will to Paul. The apostle understands this purpose to be hidden and a mystery for ages and generations, but now revealed to the saints, which is “CHRIST” in Us. (Colossians 1:26-27)

Ephesians 1:11 (ESV) In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will

Ephesians 3:11 (ESV) This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord

Romans 8:28 (ESV) And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

2 Timothy 1:9 (ESV) who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,

Romans 11:36 (ESV) For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

All creation is made by Christ—the Word. The initiation, entirely, is by Christ to create all things, and as He is infinite in Wisdom; all things are called to fulfil a purpose.

For of HIM: Christ is the SOURCE. Through HIM: Christ is the designer, fashioner, maker, creator and sustainer. To HIM: Christ is the Supreme Ruler, Lord and King with the highest and ultimate authority over all things.

We all born anew to give glory, honour and praise to Jesus Christ alone. He is the Word, the Christ. The end word in the above scripture is “Amen” which means, “so be it—from now on, and even more.”

This declaration of “Amen” is not to display this word’s dependency on our faith or our decree, but for us to accept and acknowledge it as a present reality, that is breaking forth upon all that stands opposing it, even all its enemies. This also implies that we have established ourselves by making a choice, once and for all, individually and corporately, to align ourselves with God’s Word, knowing from it; His intent, will and purpose regarding us.

This also establishes us being fellow workers in union with Him, moving towards the end purpose of CHRIST FILLING ALL THINGS.

John 3:30 (ESV) He must increase, but I must decrease.”

This is in all things, all around us and even more, we must strongly desire that the ‘I’—the Self, must decrease. All of this is in order to prepare us to demonstrate a kingdom, a transformed mentality which is no longer “I” that lives as a thing outside of Christ; no longer the “SELF,” but it is Christ who lives in me, conforming me to His image, and reproducing His character and nature within me. Christ-likeness and Him filling all things is the ultimate goal. Amen.
